Adele's XL Recordings contract is coming to a close and its been reported now that the chart-topping singer is set to sign a £90 million deal with Sony Music. The deal would be considered the biggest record deal signed by any British musician (following Robbie Williams’s £80 million EMI deal in 2002.) and the biggest for any female artist (following Whitney Houston's £70 million signing with Arista from 2001.) "We've secured Adele, who's without doubt the biggest music star in a generation. This is massive," said a source from the label.
